I'm Sophie, a true Yorkshire roots girl, now living in Northumberland. After finding my love for horses aged around four, I spent most of my childhood riding my pony on a weekend. Going through a growth spurt at aged 13 and people insisting I got a horse I would grow into, combined with a stubborn streak that I still wanted a whizzy pony, I no longer had a horse. Rest assured, as soon as I finished university in 2007, the search was back on (& this time for a horse!)

By day, I head up the Acquisition Marketing team for a european travel company (it's a fancy way of saying Digital Marketing). I absolutely LOVE what I do and take great relaxation in spending time with my four-legged friends after a busy day to then create an equestrian blog to tell the world about it!

Andrew is my husband, and wouldn't know the head from a tail of a horse when I met him... Thankfully he's learnt a little since then. A born & bred 'geordie', Andrew supports me with training at home & when we're away at competitions, as well as all other miscellaneous horsey activties (including tack cleaning - great!!)

Andrew is also chief photographer for us, and you won't often see him featured on the blog, but he's invaluable when it comes to helping us capture all angles of our equestrian adventures!

Louie has been a part of the team since January 2015. We mostly compete in British Dressage classes together, but also enjoy frequent showjumping training sessions as well as time out on the cross country course! He's a very smart horse, both looks and in his brain, and we get lovely comments where ever we go!

Louie's favourite past times are stuffing his face, sleeping and...mud therapy sessions!!

We must't forget Harry - our lovely black lab! Harry joins us at the yard & enjoys his walks around the fields - his favourite is nose diving into muddy puddles, or occasionally, bogs! Harry sometimes comes along to competitions depending on the weather... So look out for Andrew being dragged across a warm up by a crazy looking lab!!

An exceptionally handsome 17.1, 2003 bay ISH gelding. Having owned Thomas since May 2012, I've learnt a lot & Thomas has really helped my confidence to start Eventing from 2012-2014. Very tragically we lost Thomas in October 2014 due to a large, constrictive mass growing around his colon, causing a very severe colic.
